Primary 1 have loved our Wednesday morning music and storytelling sessions. We have been learning about musical instruments, joining in with fun stories and songs and playing some fun games too!

We've had a busy start to the New Year in Primary 1! We had fun outside in our icy sand pit and we have finished the week playing 'kaboom' and 'roll a number' games to help us learn our tricky words. A great start to 2026!

This week, Primary 7 enjoyed working together, exploring ideas and problem-solving while learning about scale drawings in our Building Thinking Classroom. We also worked brilliantly to create a chocolate‑packaging production line, learning how to organise tasks, follow logical steps, and streamline our process while having lots of fun collaborating

Primary 6 were taking s'elf'ies and turning themselves into Santa's little helpers. Here are some of P6 as Christmas elves.

Primary 5 have enjoyed a festive few weeks filled with learning and creativity. We learned the Makaton signs for Feliz Navidad, made crafts for the Christmas Fayre, and decorated our tree. For the last 4 weeks, Primary 1 have been singing and playing games with Mrs Gray from NYCOS. We have had lots of fun learning some new songs that we will continue to sing in class.

This week, Primary 5 have been learning about the significance of Remembrance Day and the importance of honouring those who have served and sacrificed. Primary 2/3 had the exciting opportunity to visit West Lothian college last week, to take part in a fantastic play-based and outdoor learning experience. The children had a brilliant time exploring the college's playroom, getting creative with Halloween-themed crafts and artwork, and enjoying lots of fun outdoor activities. This morning Primary 3 took part in a very wet outdoor learning session with Kids Gone Wild. We had fun exploring the woods, climbing trees and we bravely had a go at slacklining. We had the best time being wet, messy and outdoors!
