⚽ World Cup Fun in Primary 4 ⚽

Primary 4 have been having an amazing time celebrating the excitement of the World Cup! Our classroom has been buzzing with energy as we used this global event as a theme for rich interdisciplinary learning across the curriculum.

In maths, pupils explored data handling by collecting and analysing match results, creating tally charts, pictograms and even making predictions about which teams might win. There were lots of great discussions about scores, patterns and probability!

In literacy, learners developed their writing skills by designing team and country fact files. We also enjoyed reading about different countries competing in the tournament and sharing our ideas through class discussions.

Our art lessons were full of colour and creativity! Pupils designed their own football kits, balls, stadium scenes, and wall murals taking inspiration from countries around the world. The classroom has been transformed into a vibrant celebration of global culture.

In geography, we explored where different teams come from, locating countries on maps and learning about different continents. Pupils were fascinated by how diverse the world is and enjoyed discovering new places.

Throughout all of this, teamwork, cooperation and enthusiasm have been at the heart of our learning—just like in the World Cup itself!

Please enjoy the photos below, which capture just some of the fantastic learning, creativity and fun that Primary 4 have experienced during our World Cup topic.
