Primary 1 have loved our Wednesday morning music and storytelling sessions. We have been learning about musical instruments, joining in with fun stories and songs and playing some fun games too!

This week, Primary 7 enjoyed working together, exploring ideas and problem-solving while learning about scale drawings in our Building Thinking Classroom. We also worked brilliantly to create a chocolate‑packaging production line, learning how to organise tasks, follow logical steps, and streamline our process while having lots of fun collaborating

P6/7 have been learning traditional Scottish country dances! We've been practicing the St Bernard's Waltz, the Canadian Barn Dance, and the Gay Gordons. It's been great fun, and we've discovered just how energetic (and exhausting!) ceilidh dancing can be.

This week in P7 was packed with exciting learning experiences! We learned numeracy skills through Building Thinking Classrooms, where pupils collaborated and had fun solving challenges in creative ways. Primary 2/3 had the exciting opportunity to visit West Lothian college last week, to take part in a fantastic play-based and outdoor learning experience. The children had a brilliant time exploring the college's playroom, getting creative with Halloween-themed crafts and artwork, and enjoying lots of fun outdoor activities. Primary 5 and Primary 6 enjoyed collaborating with one another during an outdoor scavenger hunt. All groups demonstrated excellent team working skills and enjoyed being outside.

This morning Primary 6/7 took part in a very wet outdoor learning session with Kids Gone Wild. We had fun exploring the woods, climbing trees and we bravely had a go at zip lining. We had the best time being wet, messy and outdoors!

It was lovely to welcome all our children back to Toronto after the Festive break. P4/5 have started off their new year by reflecting on all that 2024 offered and making resolutions for the year ahead. They have set their own goals for what they would like to achieve in 2025.
