Primary 2 and Primary 2/3 have been developing their coordination, rhythm, and teamwork skills through dance. We have been learning how to keep in time with the beat, follow simple choreographed sequences, and move safely in the space around us. The children's enthusiasm and progress has been wonderful to see.
P6/7 have been learning traditional Scottish country dances! We've been practicing the St Bernard's Waltz, the Canadian Barn Dance, and the Gay Gordons. It's been great fun, and we've discovered just how energetic (and exhausting!) ceilidh dancing can be.
This week in P7 was packed with exciting learning experiences! We learned numeracy skills through Building Thinking Classrooms, where pupils collaborated and had fun solving challenges in creative ways.
