This week, P5/4 had the opportunity to take part in a Judo taster session. We played some fun games and learned some impressive Judo moves.

Primary Three have been busy as always! We have been practicing our listening and created some crazy aliens by listening carefully to instructions. We have also been working hard writing information reports, learning different multiplication strategies and for Languages week we have learnt some Gaelic greetings!

This week, Primary 7 enjoyed working together, exploring ideas and problem-solving while learning about scale drawings in our Building Thinking Classroom. We also worked brilliantly to create a chocolate‑packaging production line, learning how to organise tasks, follow logical steps, and streamline our process while having lots of fun collaborating

P2/3 have been learning about where food comes from. We have learned about the food journey of butter and have had a go at making butter ourselves.

Primary 2 and Primary 2/3 have been developing their coordination, rhythm, and teamwork skills through dance. We have been learning how to keep in time with the beat, follow simple choreographed sequences, and move safely in the space around us. The children's enthusiasm and progress has been wonderful to see.

This week in P7 was packed with exciting learning experiences! We learned numeracy skills through Building Thinking Classrooms, where pupils collaborated and had fun solving challenges in creative ways. This morning, some of our Primary 6 and Primary 7 pupils visited Inveralmond Community High School to take part in the first North Area Football Festival of the year. Primary 5 and Primary 6 enjoyed collaborating with one another during an outdoor scavenger hunt. All groups demonstrated excellent team working skills and enjoyed being outside.

Today, Primary 6 had the opportunity to work with a group of West Lothian College HND students in fun fitness tests, relay races and games. The children had a brilliant time and are really looking forward to their next session.

Primary 6/7 have been working with coach Sam from Livingston Rugby Club on Friday mornings. We have been enjoying experiencing the game and learning new skills.

This morning Primary 6/7 took part in a very wet outdoor learning session with Kids Gone Wild. We had fun exploring the woods, climbing trees and we bravely had a go at zip lining. We had the best time being wet, messy and outdoors!
