Our Toronto choir visited Braid House this week to perform some Christmas carols for the members there. We loved sharing our Christmas spirit, joy and singing with them.

Toronto's Language Ambassadors set the whole school a Christmas challenge over the month of December. Primary 7 explored the cost of the school day. In groups, we discussed different school costs and created a diamond nine to show greater and smaller costs. We then looked at a school calendar with different school events. We discussed the costs that these events would have.

For Challenge Poverty Week, P6/7 explored the 'Cost of the School Day'. We now have an understanding of how the school day costs money for families. We discussed the things Toronto Primary School does to support families in reducing the cost of the school day.
