Primary 7 and Primary 6/7 recently took part in the Happy Place Workshop, an inspiring program led by the Scottish band SAINT PHNX. P2/3 have been learning about where food comes from. We have learned about the food journey of butter and have had a go at making butter ourselves.
Primary 2 and Primary 2/3 have been developing their coordination, rhythm, and teamwork skills through dance. We have been learning how to keep in time with the beat, follow simple choreographed sequences, and move safely in the space around us. The children's enthusiasm and progress has been wonderful to see.
P6/7 have been learning traditional Scottish country dances! We've been practicing the St Bernard's Waltz, the Canadian Barn Dance, and the Gay Gordons. It's been great fun, and we've discovered just how energetic (and exhausting!) ceilidh dancing can be.
Primary 1 have been busy practicing for our Nativity! The stage is set and we are working hard, putting the finishing touches to make it a show to remember!!!!
For the last 4 weeks, Primary 1 have been singing and playing games with Mrs Gray from NYCOS. We have had lots of fun learning some new songs that we will continue to sing in class.

This week Primary 5 began working with David from West Lothian Community Foundation on the 'Football Champions' programme. Football Champions is a 12 session programme aimed at P5-P7 young people to gain leadership, confidence, and football skills.
